The most technical garment we've ever made. The Storm Shield provides the ultimate in winter protection from the elements, rain, snow, wind and the cold.

The Storm Shield fits like a jersey, and performs like a jacket. It's a completely windproof and highly water-resistant jacket which is also incredibly breathable. It was designed with one goal in mind. To keep you riding in comfort through any weather. It's the perfect companion to winter and spring rides.

Made with a premium 4-way Italian DV stretch fabric with jacket-like practicality, this winter jacket is perfect for riding in temperatures from -3c to 15c, in the rain, wind or cold paired with just a baselayer.

The eVent Italian fabric ensures rain, snow and wind are kept out, while the waterproof SBS Zipper keeps the chest dry and protected too. Two side vents offer scope for added cooling when you're riding hard. There are three deep pockets on the rear plus a 4th zipped waterproof valuables pocket too. Plus there are reflective details right across the rear to keep you seen in low light.

Size Guide

The Storm Shield is true to size, allowing room for long sleeve baselayer or even a mid layer if you really need it. The new Storm Shield is a slightly larger fit than our previous 2022 Storm Shield.

the best winter jacket

warm, waterproof and excellent quality. This is the second storm shield I've purchased and I've not been disappointed with this newer style or the older style.

Great jacket for colder unpredictable weather

The jacket has a great mid-weight for keeping warm and windproof on colder rides with the bonus of some water resistance. If your a fan of the Gabba and looking for a great alternative, this jacket will suit you well. I've gone for the nice bright orange, for visibility on grey days.

I already tried it and it is really comfortable

Storm shield… it’s nice.

I thought I had bought this too for next winter… but alas it was 3 degrees (rising to 10) and 25mph wind the day after it arrived so a gave it a whirl and it performed well. Appears well made.

40 inch chest and the size large is perfect for a thin base layer and still being aero. This is more of a robust winter jersey than a jacket. It was fine at 3 degrees.

Storm Shield Still Excellent!

Having got the original navy blue one of these over 2 years ago, I can confirm the new Orange one is nearly as good as that! Apart from changing the way it zips up at the front(it was perfect the way it was before, no need for an over flap!)and the said original colour, it's still my go to top with a base layer for half the year👌👍
