At the heart of the Empire Bibs is the Italian chamois pad from our partners at Elastic Interface. The multi-density pad offers incredible performance on road and gravel. A race-orientated pad, it is recommended for training or racing for up to 6 hours. A super soft EIT RHOMBUS + MAX top fabric layer provides supreme comfort, moisture control, and anti-bacterial protection with an eco-friendly construction.

On the body, low profile, bonded mesh shoulder straps sit flush across the shoulders, providing seamless comfort. Premium Italian fabrics complement the chamois, providing breathability and comfort for training and racing hard. Deep section compression grippers guarantee these bibs will stay in place for the duration.

For the design, indestructible woven logos on the legs and a subtle silicon logo on the rear complete the look, alongside subtle reflective tabs for low light visibility.

Impressed so far

Good leg length (I’m 6’4”) and these don’t ride up the thigh as they have decent grippers without being too tight / grabby. Crucially, pad seems to be very good even after some solid/sweaty turbo sessions. Very good value.

Usual high quality

Band of Climbers is a brand that has a happy combination of quality products, attractive design, good value and British ownership. My latest purchase was as good as ever.

New Kit

I purchased a jersey, bibshorts and socks from the BoC website which was easy to use from my phone and the size guide has worked perfectly. Already been complimented at the cafe stop on the new kit would highly recommend!

Bib shorts

My go to bib shorts. All day comfort. No need to go anywhere else.

Bib shorts pad is not best in class

Have had these a month or so now, and I alternate between these and helix pro. Even a season old the Helix provides much better support over 2+ hour rides. These are well made and are a good fit but not sure they will survive a summer of heat and sweat as well as Helix Pro. Size medium, 73kg and 181cm.
