Band of Climbers Escapes - Cancellations and Refunds

If Band of Climbers Cancels the Escape

Band of Climbers reserves the right to cancel the Escape, for reasons including COVID-19. If we do cancel your trip for any reason, we will refund you 100% of all money paid to Band of Climbers for the trip, including any deposits or final balance payments.

If we do have to cancel your trip, you will firstly be offered the chance to move your trip to another date in the future. If any offered dates are not suitable for you, you will be given a 100% refund in line with our policy, including any deposits already paid.

Due to COVID-19, we may be forced to cancel the trip in the event that the destination country is added to the UK’s Government’s ‘non essential travel’ list. For the purposes of this contract, it is the UK’s relationship with the destination country that will be taken into account.

We will not operate a trip, if there is a requirement for Band of Climbers employees or UK guests to quarantine or self-isolate on return to the UK, or on arrival in the destination country. If this occurs, Band of Climbers will be forced to cancel the trip, and you will be given a 100% refund of all monies paid as part of the trip, including any deposit payments.

Guest Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your Escape with us at any time. We require email notification of your intent to cancel as soon as you can.

With all guest cancellations, you have the option of receiving a refund based on the date of your cancellation, or you may roll over your booking to any future date we have available. 

Emails should be directed to hello@bandofclimbers.com. No cancellation costs will apply, however the level of refund you will receive differs the later you cancel your place. The difference exists to protect Band of Climbers and give us as much opportunity to offer your place to other guests as possible.

If you cancel more than 250 days prior to the 1st day of the trip, you will be refunded all your monies paid, excluding the deposit, which is non-refundable.

If you cancel 175 - 249 days prior to the 1st day of the trip, you will be refunded 90% of all your monies paid, excluding the deposit, which is non-refundable.

If you cancel 100 - 174 days prior to the 1st day of the trip, you will be refunded 70% of all your monies paid, excluding the deposit, which is non-refundable.

If you cancel 50 - 99 days prior to the 1st day of the trip you, will be refunded 45% of all your monies paid, excluding the deposit, which is non-refundable.

If you cancel 0 - 49 days prior to the 1st day of the trip, you will be refunded 25% of all your monies paid, excluding the deposit, which is non-refundable.

Guest Cancellation due to COVID-19

We understand that this is a very strange time for travel due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. We want to provide as much flexibility as possible to protect your booking in the event you cannot travel due to COVID-19.

If you cannot travel due to you catching COVID-19, or needing to self-isolate, or if your resident country bans travel, in the period from 0 - 49 days before the trip, you have two options:

1. You can move your booking to a new date in the future. You will have the choice of any Band of Climbers Escape in any location we have available. Dates will be offered to you. No additional charges will apply, even if the future trip is at a higher cost than your original booking.

2. You will be refunded 25% of all your monies paid, excluding the deposit, which is non-refundable.
