I am so happy with my new Women's Ascend Training Jersey in Classic Teal! This is the second jersey I've bought from Bands and Climbers, and both have quickly become my favorites to wear here in the Pyrenees. They are simply perfect for the kind of riding I do.
I'm particularly impressed with the technical details of this jersey. It's made from a close-fitting, high-performance Italian fabric that feels amazing against the skin and does a brilliant job of wicking away sweat. The mesh side panels are a great touch, providing excellent temperature regulation when I'm pushing hard on the climbs. The fit is close and aero, which is ideal for a training jersey. The full-length YKK Cam Lock zipper is super smooth and easy to use with one hand, and the three large rear pockets are deep enough to securely hold everything I need for a long ride. Plus, it has anti-bacterial properties, which is a big plus for me. The aero sleeves are a nice touch, too, adding to the overall high-performance feel. Fits true to size (I’m 157 cm and 51 kg and bought an XS). It’s long in the back so has excellent coverage and the pockets are nice and deep.
A great retro looking jersey. Good fit.
Tight but comfortable and flattering fit. Lightweight for the warmer days. I'm as happy with this fit and performance of this jersey as I am with ones from other brands that I've paid over double the price for! I'd say the colour is a bit more green than teal as shown in the photo.
